Games & Sports

The College has constructed a separate Indoor games complex. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GOI, New Delhi has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 20,00,000/- during 2001-2003. Facilities are provided for Cricket, Volleyball, Basket Ball, Tennikoit, Throw ball and Shuttle-Badminton. complex. A 16 station GYM is the special facility available in the games complex.

  • Our boys team stood second in the Volley Ball Tournament -January 2018 conducted by NIT warangal.
  • Our girl students secured second place in Basket Ball at the KITS trophy January 2018 conducted by KITS Warangal.
  • Boys team won the Volley Ball Tournament - Yashoyan conducted at JITS karimnagar in February 2018.
  • Our Students won 8 out of 13 events in Inter Collegiate B-Zone games tournament conducted by JNTU(kondagattu) in March 2018.
  • In the State Level Youth Sports Competitions july 2018 held at jangoan , our students were winners under junior and senior categories for volley ball.
  • The college cricket Team were runners up in the Eenadu Championship Cricket Cup conducted at karimnagar by Eenadu in december 2017.
  • Our Students won highest number of prizes in Inter Collegiate Zonal level tournaments of JNTU. They won 6 out of 11 trophies in 2008-09.
  • Our students won several prizes in competitions held by neighboring institutes.

National Service Scheme

N.S.S is a voluntary service programme by young people in colleges and Universities working for campus to community linkage. K.I.T.S, Singapur launched N.S.S., on November 20th, 2003. This unit has nearly 130 volunteers, 6 members and is headed by a Staff Coordinator. Students and staff actively participate in NSS events. This unit adopted our native village, Singapur, to undertake the activities under this programme.

With persistent efforts of the management, Principal, Kamala Institute of Technology and Science, Singapur has been sanctioned a Senior Division NCC unit Coy.No: 46(B) with 50 cadets, under 9 Andhra Battalion,Karimnagar, Nizambad Group in the month of August 2011 with an ID: 9(A)Bn/46(b). Later An additional intake of 50 cadets is sanctioned in August 2012 with an ID: 9(A)Bn/46(c). All these cadets participated in several Annual Training Camps,Combined Annual Training Camps & National integration Camps in Andhra Pradesh and other states.

75th NCC DAY CELEBRATIONS

NCC Activities

  • A special training session on “weapon training and Map reading” conducted by Army staff for NCC cadets on 16th February 2020
  • 100 cadets participated in Republic day parade organized in the college on the eve of 26th Jan 2020. Organized sports activities to the NCC cadets and issued certificates and medals to winners and runner up cadets by principal.
  • 10 cadets participated for web casting in municipal election conducted at Jammikunta, Muncipality on 22.01.2020.
  • 33 cadets participated in “ Sammakha Sarakha Jathara” at Huzurabad to control the traffic on 7-8-January 2020.
  • Swatchtha hi seeva is organized on 15th December 2019 around 90 cadets participated in this and cleaned campus surroundings.
  • Swatch bharath program is organized on 27th September 2019. Around 78 cadets participated in this and cleaned campus surroundings.
  • Blood donation camp organized in college premises on 24th September 2019, 85 NCC cadets and other students participated & 120 units collected by MGM, Warangal.
  • 20 Cadets participated / supported Police dept Huzurabad, Karimnagar for controlling crowed on “ Ganesh Nimarjan” on 11th September 2019 as per the request received from the Inspector of Police Huzurabad.
  • 100 cadets participated in Independence day parade organized in college flag hosting on 15th Aug 2019.
  • Tree Plantation program is organized on 13th Aug 2019, around 50 saplings planted by NCC cadets in the college premises.

  • International Yoga Day is organized on 21st June 2019 in KITS Indore stadium at Divisional level, around 180 cadets participated in the event from Huzurabad and Singapur.
  • Hosted NCC CATC-1 at KITS Singapur from 9.6.2019 to 18.6.2019 as per the orders received from 9(T)Bn,NCC,Karimanagr. Around 650 cadets participated from all over the state.
