A separate Training and Placement Cell has been established with effect from 29th August 2001 with the following objectives:
Sincere efforts, ever since the establishment of Training & Placement Division are being taken to get maximum students placed in reputed companies and is driven by Commitment towards the holistic development of student.
KITS(S) is one of the privileged institutions that has been accredited for Campus placements by the software leviathan TCS
One of the major objectives of Training & Placement cell has been to develop entrepreneurship skills along with employability skills. In view of the present economic scenario, where placements have received a major setback, developing entrepreneurship skills have been given priority in this academic year. Though our students have been periodically attending workshops on Entrepreneurship at JNTU Hyderabad and BITS, Pilani, for the first time since the inception of T & P Cell, a national level workshop has been organized by T & P on 13th feb 2009 on the topic . It is proposed to establish an Entrepreneurship Development Cell by the end of this academic year.
A two day workshop has been organized in the year 2005 September to enhance the soft skills by Dr.Abhimanyu Acharya, Corporate trainer, editor, THE HINDU - OPPORTUNITIES supplement, and the pioneer organizer of job fairs in AP, has been a great success. Around 165 final year students have been trained by Dr. Abhimanyu Acharya in this work shop
Our college has been one of the partners in the tri-party collaboration of INFOSYS- IEG- JKC Colleges where in some of the selected faculty have been trained in technical and soft skills in the year 2006, at Infosys campus, Hyderabad, under the train-the-trainers banner. From then on every year III year students (approximately 200) are being trained by these faculty members free of cost and this program is helping students to upgrade their employability skills and they also receive a certificate at the end of the training by INFOSYS.
